After a days tour of Bangkok we head south to the Krabi province to enjoy a wonderful resort, speed through a flooded plain, visit a stilt village and the exotic island where James Bond was made. Then a relaxing sojourn at a beautiful beach resort. Great for couples old and young and the whole family.
FULL ITINERARY
01 February ’Äì 31 October 2009
Day 1: Arrival Bangkok THAILAND
Arrive at Bangkok Airport by flight. You will be greeted by your local English speaking guide before transfering to your luxury 5 star hotel. Normal check-in time is after approx. 14.00 hrs.

Day 2: Bangkok
After breakfast, we will be visiting the Grand Palace, Chakri Maha Prasad, which is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Thai court and was the former residence for the Thai kings. Contrast the elaborate opulence of the palace’Äôs brilliant halls, pavilions, spires and murals with the powerful simplicity of the famed 31-inch-high Emerald Buddha, carved from a single block of jade. Ladies and gentlemen are required to dress suitably.
Note: The Grand Palace is closed on big Buddha Days, Coronation Day, King’Äôs Birthday, Songkran Festival and during the visits of Royal’Äôs Guests. So, please check the possibility when you make the booking. Do not take the advice of strangers who approach you and attempt to get you onto other tours.
Continue to Wat Po, home of the enormous Reclining Buddha and one of the oldest and largest temples in Bangkok. Here the Traditional Medicine Practitioners of Bangkok have their headquarters and Traditional Thai Massage is taught and practiced here.
Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, travel by motor launch on the picturesque Chao Phya River and klongs (canals) to observe the serene family homes and temples along the waterways, which gave this city the name ’Äú Venice of the East ’Äú. We will stop at Royal Barges, excellent samples of Thai craftsmanship, and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, which 79 m spire silhouette has become so identified with Bangkok. There will be ample opportunity to photograph the magnificent multi-colored porcelain-studded towers. Get off from boat and walk around the biggest wholesale flower market in Bangkok ’ÄúPak Klong Talad’Äù. Return to Hotel.

Day 3: Bangkok ’Äì Krabi
Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer from your Hotel to Bangkok Airport for your departure flight to Krabi.
Arrive at Krabi Airport and transfer to your Hotel by private minivan and join boat.

Day 4: Krabi
Breakfast at Hotel. Full Day Phang Nga & James Bond Island by Speedboat (SIC).
After a pick up from the hotel to pier, embarking by Speedboat speed out to Phang Nga Bay, along the way passing the residence Queen Palace on the mountain of Hang Nak, stopping at the James Bond Island where ’ÄúThe Man With The Golden Gun’Äù was shot. Then we drive up to the stilt village of Pan Yi. Here we have lunch and walk around the village to see the local life. Continuing our by speedboat we explore the mangrove forest & river. We will enjoy a short trip in a kayak through the big Tunnel cave. On the way back to Krabi, we will stop at Hong Marine Park & explore this wonderful island & the Hong Lagoon. Here we will relax for swimming and sunning. Ca.
1600-1630 back to hotel.

Day 5: Krabi
Breakfast at Hotel. Today and tomorrow is at your leisure. There are trips to various islands like Phi Phi Lai where The Beach movie was filmed and water sporting activities but please note that they are NOT included in the price.

Day 8: Departure Bangkok
