Summary
This tour starts from bangkok moves to khao yai national park then continue to Bung boraphet before reaching the Norther part of Thailand then finishes in Bangkok. This trip gives you chance to watch forest birds, mountain birds , shore birds and some very rare bird species.
Day 1: Depart your Bangkok hotel at 0600 for the 2-hours Tranfer by private vehicle to Khao Yai National Park. Breakfast enroute before heading out to Khao Khieo mountain, an area dominated by hill evergreen forest above1,000 m. After lunch, set out on a roadside birding tour in the area of the headquarters and take a short easy walk through the grassland habitat of Nong Phak Chi for birding and on the lookout for some of the other wildllife that inhabits the park. Possible sightings include Wild Dog, Sambar Deer, Stock billed-Kingfisher, Bright-capped Cisticola, Hill Myna and Wreathed Hornbill. After dinner, we head out on a nighttime spotlighting trip on the look out for deer, civet, porcupine, slow loris and possibly elephant.

Day 2: Spend the morning birding in some of Khao Yai’s best evergreen forest. Look out for Red-headed Trogon, Slaty-backed Forktail, Blue Pitta, Greater Flameback, Dusky Broadbill, Banded Broadbill, Blue-winged Leafbird, Green Magpie, White-crested Laughingthrush and many more. Reach the bats cave where you will see miilions of bats along with the raptors.Back to your resort around 1900pm

Day 3: Spend full morning birding in the outer area of the national park and start driving to Nakhorn Sawan which is the gateway to the northern part. Stop for birding en route.Reach the resort late afternoon, have short rest and head out for exploring the city if time permits carry on birding.Have dinner and drive back to the hotel.

Day 4: Today wake up early morning for half day birding in the Bung Boraphet area, see some water birds and shoreline species.Have lunch and start driving to Doi Inthanon.Continue your birding trip to the Doi Inthanon national park. Reach your resort around 1930.Have dinner and get to bed.
Overnight: Inthanon Highland resort ( 3 star) Superior room

Day 5: Head into the national park for full day birding.Start birding on the lower slopes, birds to look out for include wintering species such as Grey Bushchats, Siberian Rubythroats, Buff-throated, Radde´s and Yellow-streaked warblers and a few Little and Chestnut Buntings. Buzzards and occasional Grey faced Buzzard may also be found.Exit the forest around 1800pm for the transfer back to your resort.
Overnight: Inthanon Highland resort ( 3 star) Superior room

Day 6: Today enter the forest and drive up to the highest portion of the park, the summit species include Red-flanked Bluetails, White-tailed and Ashy-throated leaf-wablers, together with wintering Orange-barred leaf-warblers. Flocks of Scarlet Rosefinches are often present and frequently contain occasional surprise visitors, such as the Dark-breasted Rosefinch. Exit the forest around 1700 for the transfer to Chiangmai.Reach Chiangmai and head to night Bazaar for dinner and see the handicrafts.
Overnight: Holiday Garden resort ( 3 star) Executive room

Day 7: Have breakfast at the resort and drive to Doi Suthep to explore the beautiful temple following the birding activity in the area.After Lunch start driving back to Bangkok. Reach bangkok around 2100pm.Transfer to your bangkok hotel.End of our services .( Can spend few days more on your own in Chiangmai)

- Flight to Bangkok from Chiangmai is optional ( on extra cost)
