Summary
Khao Yai National Park, full of exotic wildlife, birds animals and rich in flora of multi types. In the three days we are here we shall be seeing many species of wildlife. This is truly an exciting, informative holiday with guides who know their subjects inside out.

With some 2,000-2,500 plant species, over 350 bird species, and large mammals including elephants, white handed gibbon, gaur, Asiatic black bear and wild dog, Khao Yai is a natural choice for a Wild Watch adventure. This 3 day trip in Khao Yai national park takes you on a number of nature hikes with your naturalist leader through some of the parks best wildlife habitat. Possible wildlife sightings include gibbons, stump-tailed macaque, sambar deer, barking deer, great hornbills, elephants, wild dog and more.


Day 1: Depart your Bangkok hotel at 0700 for the 2-hour transfer to Khao Yai. Meet your naturalist guide head into the national park on a nature walk for the rest of the day through the lush evergreen forest that dominates the central regions of Khao Yai national park. Porters are on-hand to carry food and other essentials, and a cook prepares a traditional Thai lunch for you in the forest. Having freshened up after your walk, you will visit mineral licks which is often visited by large mammals. Go on the crocodile trail for a short trek.

Drive to Khao Kheaw view point to watch some bird species.In the evening reach the park headquarter for a night safari spotlighting, finding wildlife of all sizes, possible sighting includes : Civets, elephants, deers, porcupine, wild dogs etc. Exit the forest around 2030pm for the transfer back to your resort.Have dinner enroute in a Traditional thai restaurant.

Walking Distance: 4 kms over a period of 4-5 hours. Meals Included: [L,D]

Day 2: After having breakfast at the hotel head on an early morning walk to a wildlife watchtower on the look-out for birds such as the great hornbill, and to witness dawn activities as a nearby mineral lick, set out on a full day nature trek with your naturalist leader.Again, porters will be carrying essentials for breakfast and another delicious lunch in the forest.After finishing the walk, start driving back exit the forest and drive to Elephant mountain to see millions of bats flying out of the caves. Reach your resort around 1900pm, spend your time relaxing, swimming or reading books at the hotel.You are free to have dinner at your own at the hotel.

Day 3: Enter national park around 0830am on a morning nature trek that focuses on the lives of the parks gibbon population. You will set off early in an attempt to view these amazing forest acrobats at close range. Have lunch in a restaurant close to haew suwat waterfall, the most beautiful waterfall in Khao yai.Visit Haew narok waterfall before heading out of the forest.Exit the forest approximately 1530pm for the transfer back to your bangkok hotel or airport.
