The Mission
Six years ago British born Steve Kyte took a sabatical from his London based digital graphic production company to undertake a world tour including Asia and Australasia. Over all these countries he was most drawn to Thailand and decided not only to settle there but encourage many of his friends to visit. Now he is offering Western travellers the chance to savour the environment and experience the Thai culture, an important part of his philosophy.
ASIA PARADISE differs from most tour companies in that it offers flexible tailor-made eco-tours that cater to the varying travel requirements of clubs & societies, small groups, families, etc. Facilities for guests in Thailand have improved enormously and now we can provide an unparalleled level of comfort based on clients preferences, the result of which is that a wider range of people now have access to Thailand's fascinating wilderness areas. We now offer in season 2009, a new concept in the Thai experience - Home Stays.
Our Commitment to Conservation
We are committed to the long-term conservation effort here in Thailand. We work closely with villagers, conservation authorities and non-governmental organisations to ensure that local communities and the environment derive maximum benefit from our programmes. Great care is taken in the selection and use of trekking routes and camp sites, and in waste management practices. Small group sizes minimise the impact on village life and on local fauna & flora. Long-term financial benefit to local communities bordering protected areas in which the company operates is a high priority. This is achieved through employment in support of field excursions, and the use of local services.
We believe that responsible tourism promotes sustainable development of the region. We give priority to suppliers and grassroots projects that stimulate nature conservation and environmental awareness. Moreover, we support individual initiatives that promote local arts and crafts and projects involving the disabled and less fortunate.
Travellers on our tours will see Thailand as never before, since our philosophy is not merely sightseeing but an integration with the environment that most westerners have never and probably will never, experience.
Our Commitment to Our Customers
Herec in Thailand, customers have protection with TAT (the Tourist Association of Thailand) which is similar to ABTA in the UK. With the influx of tourism during the past decade tourist interests are a high priority and similar bonding demands are required from members in the travel business.
